How much does it cost to set up a company in Meydan Free Zone?
Meydan’s Regular licence is AED 12,500 a year (Fawri instant: AED 15,000), with 3 activity groups included. Each visa adds a AED 1,850 allocation and the visa fee — about AED 4,000 for an investor, AED 3,500 for an employee or about AED 6,000 for a dependant — plus a one-time AED 2,000 immigration card. We confirm your full figure, including our service fee, before you pay.
How long does Meydan company setup take?
A standard licence is usually issued in one to three working days once documents are complete. The Fawri instant licence can be issued in under an hour. Visas take longer because of the entry permit, medical and Emirates ID steps.
Can I set up a Meydan company from outside the UAE?
Yes. Meydan Free Zone setup is fully remote — you can sign and submit everything online without visiting the UAE.
Do I need an office in Meydan?
No. Every licence includes a flexi-desk with a lease agreement. You can upgrade to a shared office (AED 15,000 a year) or a dedicated office (AED 30,000 a year), which also supports more visas.
Will I be able to open a bank account?
A Meydan licence makes you eligible to apply for a UAE corporate bank account. Approval is always at the bank’s discretion. We’ll prepare you for what banks typically ask for.
Does my free zone company need to register for Corporate Tax?
Yes. Free zone companies must register for Corporate Tax and file an annual return, even if they qualify for the 0% rate on qualifying income. Our first-year bundle covers the registration and filing.
What is the cost of setting up a company in a UAE free zone?

If you set up your company through us, you can add bookkeeping, Corporate Tax and VAT registration and filing, and e-invoicing readiness for AED 4,800 for the first year instead of AED 6,000 — when paid annually upfront. It covers up to 50 transactions a month and has limited places.
What is your service fee?
