How much does it cost to set up a company in RAKEZ?
RAKEZ’s published packages start at AED 6,000 a year for a licence without a visa, and AED 14,000 a year for the all-inclusive package with one residence visa. The final cost depends on your activity, the number of visas and the office type. We confirm the full figure, including our service fee, before you pay anything.
How long does RAKEZ company setup take?
The Biz Starter licence can be issued in as little as 24 hours once documents are complete. Packages with a visa take longer because of the entry permit, medical and Emirates ID steps — typically a few weeks end to end.
Can I set up a RAKEZ company from outside the UAE?
Yes, most packages can be set up remotely by overseas founders. The AED 6,000 Biz Starter package may be limited to UAE-based applicants, so we’ll confirm which package you qualify for.
Do I get a UAE residence visa?
The All-Inclusive SME package includes one residence visa, and you can add up to three more at AED 4,000 each. The Biz Starter package does not include a visa.
Will I be able to open a bank account?
A RAKEZ licence makes you eligible to apply for a UAE corporate bank account. Approval is always at the bank’s discretion and subject to their checks. We’ll tell you what banks typically ask for.
Does my free zone company need to register for Corporate Tax?
Yes. Free zone companies must register for Corporate Tax and file an annual return, even if they qualify for the 0% rate on qualifying income. Our first-year bundle covers the registration and filing.
What is the cost of setting up a company in a UAE free zone?
It depends on the free zone, the licence type, how many visas you need and the office facility. In RAKEZ, published packages start from AED 6,000 a year without a visa and AED 14,000 a year with one residence visa. Use the calculator above for an estimate, and we’ll confirm the exact figure.
What is VIP visa processing?
In RAKEZ it comes with the Premium Upgrade (AED 2,500 on top of the All-Inclusive package), which adds VIP visa support, banking assistance and Corporate Tax registration and filing support.
What is the 20% first-year bundle?
If you set up your company through us, you can add bookkeeping, Corporate Tax and VAT registration and filing, and e-invoicing readiness for AED 4,800 for the first year instead of AED 6,000 — when paid annually upfront. It covers up to 50 transactions a month and has limited places.
What is your service fee?
Our fee depends on the package, activity and visas you need. We share it on your quote alongside RAKEZ’s fees, so you see the complete cost upfront with no surprises later.
